On June 8, 1956 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Floyd Patterson and Tommy "Hurricane" Jackson met in a title elimination bout. Patterson prevailed winning a close 12 round split decision. Patterson would go on to win the heavyweight title in his next fight. Offered here is a scarce, original, full, unused ticket for this event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a seat number. Stub firmly attached. Bold color and print. Not creased, but does have some compressions. Paper residue on the back from mounting. 2 1/4" x 6."
