HISTORY: Alexis Arguello fought Aaron Pryor on September 9, 1983 for the World Jr. Welterweight Championship. Pryor knocked Arguello out in the 10th round to successfully defend his title. On the same date at the Northlands Coliseum in Edmonton, Canada British Commonwealth and Canadian Heavyweight Champion Trevor Berbick defended his title against Ken Lakusta. Berbick prevailed knocking Lakusta out in the 10th round. Also on the same date Thomas "Hitman" Hearns was scheduled to fight James Green, but the fight did not come off as scheduled.
Offered here is an original poster advertising the closed circuit viewing of the Pryor-Arguello fight and Hearns-Green fight and the on site viewing of the Berbick-Lakusta fight.
