On October 26, 1970 at City Auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia heavyweight Muhammad Ali made his comeback after a three year enforced retirement due to his refusal to accept military service. His opponent was the capable Jerry Quarry. Ali scored a third round victory when the referee stopped the fight due to a severe cut on Quarry's face. Offered here is an original wire which depicts Jerry Quarry with his son, Jerry Jr., and his sister Wilma who is wearing a pin declaring herself as his number one fan, posing on the day of this fight.
