Lee Ramage was born in San Diego on October 1, 1910. He began his professional boxing career on January 24, 1930 with a 2nd round TKO of Fred Wagner. He went on to fight Ace Hudkins, Steve Hamas, Bob Pastor, Lou Nova, Joe Louis and Maxie Rosenbloom. He retired after fighting a draw with Yancy Henry on February 3, 1939. He lived to be 80 passing away on July 19, 1991. Presented here is a one page handwritten letter signed by Lee Ramage.
This one page letter on Santa Fee Railroad stationary was to Floyd "Red" Taylor. Boldly signed. Written in ball point pen. Corners have creases. A tear in lower margin not affecting the taxt. 5" x 7".
