HISTORY: Joe Rivers was born on March 19, 1892 in Los Angeles, California. He fought twice for the lightweight title but was not victorious either time. He retired after fighting Pete McCarthy on April 3, 1923. Presented here is a signed photo.
FULL DESCRIPTION: Joe Rivers has boldly signed this 8" x 10" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "To a Swell Couple Kenny & Sadie From Joe Rivers." The photo has some slight soiling on the edges. The right edge is creased and there is a crease on the left side of his body. The corners are slightly creased as well. The signature is clean.
