On May 1, 1957 Sugar Ray Robinson battled Middleweight Champion Gene Fullmer at Chicago Stadium in Chicago. Robinson had lost the title to Fullmer in January by 15 round decision. He won the rematch by knocking Fullmer out in 5 rounds. The punch that stopped Fullmer, a vicious and perfect left hook, was voted by Ring Magazine the best knockout of the past 50 years. Presented here is an original, official program for this event.
