On September 18, 1945 at Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, New York future world champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought Jimmy Mandell in the main event. Robinson dominated the fight and stopped Mandell in the 5th round. Offered here is a rare, original, official program for this event.
This is an original, official program which pictures Robinson on the cover and which consists of 18 pages complete with full bout listing. Not scored. Clean inside and out. Has a center crease. Center page is loose from staples. Slight cover separation at bottom of binding. Small closed tear on back cover with no paper loss. 6 1/8" x 9 1/4." Rare, the only example we have seen.
