In December, 1952 world middleweight champion Sugar Ray Robinson retired for two years to try his hand at the entertainment industry. He developed a song and dance act and took it on the road, unsuccessfully. Offered here is a program for his appearance at The Palms in Columbus in May, 1953. The program pictures Sugar Ray Robinson and he has boldly signed it in ink.
This is an original, 4 page foldout style program picturing Robinson. He has signed adjacent to his picture, "Best Wishes Sugar Ray Robinson," In vintage ink. Not creased or torn. Some minor foxing of the paper from age. Bold, clear image. 4 3/4" x 7" when opened. Seldom seen.
