RODRIGUEZ, LUIS-WILBERT "SKEETER" MCCLURE WIRE PHOTO (1963)

On December 27, 1963 at Madison Square Garden in New York welterweights Luis Rodriguez and Wilbert "Skeeter" McClure met in a featured bout. Rodriguez had defeated McClure by decision two months earlier. In this rematch Rodriguez put McClure down in the 6th round and went on to win a ten round unanimous decision. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts action during the bout.
