SATTERFIELD, BOB-LEE OMA OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1950)

On May 17, 1950 at Chicago Stadium heavyweights Bob Satterfield and Lee Oma met in the main event. Satterfield prevailed knocking Oma out in the 6th round. Satterfield was floored for a nine count in the 5th, and as he rose groggy, Oma charged in for the finish. Satterfield then dropped him with a right hand, and Oma was still on the floor when the bell rang. Satterfield then knocked him out cold with a right hand in the 6th.
