HISTORY: On October 1, 1975 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met for the third and final time in the historic "Thriller In Manila." Ali emerged victorious it what was clearly one of the great fights of the century when Joe Frazier could no longer continue. Offered here is an original Neil Liefer limited edition photograph (73 of 350) of Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in action during the "Thrilla In Manila." Offered here is an original first day cover, date stamped October 1, 1975 celebrating this great fight which has been signed by former heavyweight champion Jack Sharkey. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original first day cover which pictures Muhammad Ali. It is date stamped October 1, 1975 on the front with a stamp from the Philippines. Issued by the International Philatelic Society in Manila, Philippines and is so noted on the reverse. Bold image. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. Pencil notations on back, otherwise clean. Boldly signed in ink, "Jack Sharkey 1932 & 1933." Exceptionally rare souvenir from this great fight. 3 5/8" x 6 1/2." Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with cert # 83099537.
