On June 18, 1973 at Madison Sqaure Garden in New York heavyweight contenders Earnie Sahvers and Jimmy Ellis battled in the main event. The hard hitting Shavers made quick work of it knocking out Ellis in the very first round. On the undercard future champion Vito Antuofermo stopped Tony Durango in the second round. Offered here is a very scarce original official program to this event.
