HISTORY: On June 25, 1981 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas world super welterweight champion Ayub Kalule defended his title against Sugar Ray Leonard. Leonard prevailed stopping Kalule in the 9th round to win the title. On the undercard Thomas Hearns stopped Pablo Baez in the 4th round and Pipino Cuevas stopped Jorgen Hansen in the first round.
