John L. Sullivan was born on October 15, 1858 in Roxbury, Boston, MA. He is the link between bare knuckles and glove fighting and is considered to be one of the best heavyweights ever. Presented here is a John L. Sullivan Temperance broadside from 1914.
This John L. Sullivan Temperance broadside is 4 1/2" x 12 1/4." There are three horizontal creases from where it was folded and there is an additional crease along the top and bottom edge. Clean with no rips or tears.
