On June 28, 1966 at the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, Texas WBA heavyweight champion Ernie Terrell defended his title against Doug Jones. Terrell pervailed winning a unanimous 15 round decision. On the undercard in a heavyweight battle Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams stopped Tod Herring in the 3rd round. Offered here is an original closed circuit poster for the viewing of this fight at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco.
