Camille Ewald was the person who lived with boxing trainer Cus D'Amato in Catskill, New York. Camille and D'Amato invited young men aspiring to be boxers, into their home. Some were orphans, some from broken homes, others came from poor environments without hope for the future. One such boxer was Mike Tyson. Tyson moved into the home and was trained by D'Amato until his death. Camille Ewald virtually became Tyson's surrogate mother. Offered here is a circa mid 1980's original, first generation photo depicting Tyson and Camille Ewald sitting together.
This is an original, first generation photo with photographer label on back. Bold, clear image. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. 8" x 10."
