HISTORY:On June 27, 1988 undefeated Mike Tyson and undefeated Michael Spinks fought at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey to decide the undisputed Heavyweight Championship Of The World. Both fighters had versions of the world title. Going in it looked competitive. Tyson had been going through much turmoil in his personal life and many experts thought that would be a distraction against the widely respected Michael Spinks. If it was it never showed. Tyson destroyed Spinks in one round in a fight never in doubt from the outset.
