Mike Tyson won the Heavyweight Title in 1986 with a dominating knockout over then champion, Trevor Berbick. After losing the title and doing a stretch in prison for a rape conviction Tyson went on to unify the Heavyweight Titles with wins over champions,James "Bonecrusher" Smith and Pinklon Thomas. He lost twice to Evander Holyfield, and in the second fighthe was disqualified for biting off a piece of Holyfield's ear. He challenged Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight tile, but was stopped by Lewis. he retired from boxing after a loss to Kevin McBride with a final record of 50-6. Offered here is original cartoon artwork by Hall Of Fame artist Bill Gallo of the New York Daily News in which he depicts Mike Tyson with a crown on his head. Done after Tyson's victory over Trevor Berbick to win his first title.
