VALDEZ, RODRIGO-JOSE RODRIGUEZ ON SITE POSTER (1973)

On March 5, 1973 at Madison Square Garden in New York future middleweight champion Rodrigo Valdez fought Jose Rodriguez in the main event. Valdez prevailed stopping Rodriguez in the 5th round. Rodriguez was down twice in the 1st and three times in the 5th, which forced an automatic stoppage. Offered here is a scarce original, on site poster to this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Clean front and back. No center crease. No tack holes. Edge and corner wear. 22 1/2" x 28 1/2."
