Mickey "The Toy Bulldog" Walker won the World Welterweight Title on November 1, 1922 defeating Jack Britton in 15 rounds. He successfully defended the title six times before losing it to Pete Latzo on May 20, 1926. He won the World Middleweight Title on December 3, 1926 defeating Tiger Flowers in 10 rounds. He successfully defended that title three times. Posted a career mark of 115-21-4 with 22 no decisions and 1 no contest. In addition to Britton and Flowers he posted career victories over Maxie Rosenbloom, Ace Hudkins, Paul Berlenbach, Mike McTigue, Dave Shade, and Lew Tendler. Presented here is a signed letter form Walker to noted author Peter Heller.
This signed letter measures 6 inches by 11 inches.The letter has the usual folds and the right edge is somewhat rough.The letter has very minor soiling.The siganture is in blue ink and clean.
