ZIVIC, FRITZIE-REUBEN SHANK ON SITE POSTER (1942)

On April 23, 1942 at the Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota former world welterweight champion Fritzie Zivic fought Reuben Shank in the main event. Zivic won a ten round decision over Shank. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which names and pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Not creased or torn. Has some restoration along the bottom, not affecting the images. Has archival backing added for reinforcement. Very minor corner wear, 13 5/8" x 22." Extremely rare, the only example we have seen.
