GAMBOA, YURIORKIS-JOHNNIE EDWARDS ON SITE POSTER (2008)

On February 22, 2008 at the Xtreme Indoor Karting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Yuriorkis Gamboa and Johnnie Edwards fought for the vacant NABF Super Featherweight Title. Gamboa stopped Edwards in the very first round. Edwards was down at :34 when a flurry caused him to fall back into the ropes. He received a standing eight-count. Gamboa warned in Round 1 for pushing. A straight right hand put Edwards down at 1:28. The referee did not start a count and immediately waved an end to the bout. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
