HISTORY: On April 15, 1985 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Middleweight Champion Marvelous Marvin Hagler successfully defended his crown stopping challenger Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns in three rounds. This fight featured one of the greatest first rounds in championship fight history with both men going full tilt in toe to toe action. Hagler, a natural middleweight, proved too big and too strong for Hearns. He wore him down before stopping him in the third in one of the great fights in the division's history.
