HISTORY: On December 21, 1996 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut heavyweights David Izon (Izonritei) and David Tua battled in a featured match. It was a close fight going into the 12th and final round when Tua put Izon down and ultimately stopped him. In the twelfth round Izon was badly hurt by seven punches to the head. The last punch was a devastating left smash. After this punch Izon sat down on the ropes, before coming off seven seconds later. Referee Richard Flaherty decided to stop the contest. Scores : 106 - 103 (Tua) | 105 - 104 (Tua) | 105 - 104 (Izon).

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, on site, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Stub firmly attached. Not creased or torn. Clean front and back. Has 8 small staple holes at upper and lower edges. 3 1/4" x 5 1/2." Very scarce, the only example we have seen.
