On April 13, 1937 at the City Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska world light heavyweight champion John Henry Lewis fought Harold "Millionaire" Murphy in a non title main event. Lewis stopped Murphy in the 4th round. Murphy was actually counted out at the end of the third round, but the referee determined his count went on after the bell. On the undercard former world middleweight champion Gorilla Jones knocked out Vernon "battling" Nelson in the 4th round. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event.
