On June 2, 1923 at the Polo Grounds in New York Johnny Kilbane and Frenchman Eugene Criqui battled for the World Featherweight Title. Criqui won the title scoring a 6th round TKO when referee Jack Appell called a stop to the action. This was the last fight in the career of Johnny Kilbane. Offered here is an original post fight poster put out by Associated News Service depicting action during the fight.
