HISTORY: Max Baer fought Primo Carnera on June 14, 1934 for the World Heavyweight Title held by Carnera. Baer won by TKO in the 11th round to take the title. This was one of the most brutal fights in heavyweight championship history. Carnera absorbed a horrible beating before the fight was finally halted.
