HISTORY: On July 4,1931 Max Baer met Paulino Uzcudun in a Heavyweight bout.Uzcudun would win the bout by decision in 20 rounds of boxing.This is the "first heavyweight bout of any importance in Reno since [Jack] Johnson defeated [James] Jeffries July 4, 1910." Some 18,000 people attended, "virtually equalling the normal population of the city." New York Times.Jaxk Dempsey served as the referee. Presented here is an original ticket to the bout.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This original ticket measures 2 3/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches.The ticket has a small crease in lower left corner.The corners show mild wear.The back indicates the ticket is good for the horse racing to follow. Mild toning, otherwise clean.The printing is vivid.
