Cassius Clay won the Olympic Gold Medal in boxing at the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. He defeated Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He would become the first man to win that title three times. Changed his name to Muhammad Ali after defeating Liston.When Clay first started his professional career he was managed by The Louisville Sponsoring Group which was a group of Louisville Businessmen who signed Clay to a managing contract.Presented here is a rare vintage signed magazine cut of Cassius Clay who is pictured.
