HISTORY: On January 30, 1977 at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo, Japan WBA Junior Flyweiht champion Yoko Gushiken defended his title against Panamanian challenger Jaime Rios. Rios knocked Gushiken down in the 3rd round, but Gushiken rallied to win a close 15 round split decision.
