LAMOTTA, JAKE SIGNED LARGE FORMAT PHOTO (FROM MITRI FIGHT)

On July 12, 1950 World Middleweight Champion Jake LaMotta made his first title defense against rugged Tiberio Mitri at Madison Square Garden in New York. LaMotta banged out a 15 round decision to retain the crown he had taken from Marcel Cerdan in 1949. Presented here is a large format photograph showing a triumphant LaMotta standing in the ring after the fight which he has signed.
