HISTORY: Pete Latzo was born on August 1, 1902 in Coloraine, Pennsylvania. He defeated Mickey Walker on May 20, 1926 to win the World Welterweight Title. He fought Tommy Loughran for the World Light Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after losing to Teddy Yarosz on June 5, 1934 with a final record of 76-37-6 with 28 no decisions, 1 no contest and 25 KO's. Offered here is an original Abington Hills Country Club membership card for Pete Latz dated January 31, 1927 while he was still world champion. From the estate of Pete Latzo.
