On May 30, 1895 George "Kid" Lavigne and Jack Everhardt fought at the Seaside Athletic Club at Coney Island in Brooklyn. This was the main event of the evening and was scheduled for 20 rounds. It went the distance with Lavigne winning the decision. Within a year Lavigne would go on to win the World Lightweight Title. Presented here is an official on site poster for the event.
This official on site poster pictures both fighters and lists the undercard as well. There is some edgewear and some very small tears on the edges. One center crease. Images are particularly sharp. Very little fading to either the images or the text. Extremely rare pre-1900 poster. 7" x 10 1/4".
