On September 25, 1962 at Comiskey Park in Chicago Floyd Patterson defended his heavyweight tile against the number one contender Sonny Liston. Liston waited a long time for his shot and made the most of it stopping Patterson in the very first round to win the title. Offered here is a scarce original, souvenir pennant for this event.
This is an original, felt, souvenir pennant which pictures both fighters. Small pin holes in corners. Two tack holes in body outside images. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Clean. Very mild creasing. 29" long.
