Armand "Al" Weill (December 28, 1893 in Guebwiller, France – October 20, 1969 in Florida) was a boxing manager. He managed four world champions Rocky Marciano, Marty Servo, Lou Ambers, Joey Archibald and several other boxers. He moved to the United States from his birthplace of France at the age of 13, where he eventually began his career. Offered here is a signed Manager's License Application for the State of Californis dated April 3, 1958.
This is a two page document filled out in hand by Al Weill and signed by him on the reverse. His signature is in ink witnessed by a notary. His fingerprints are on the bottom of the second page and his photo is attached to the front. Two punch holes at the top outside of the text. Minor edge and corner wear. Clean front and back. Tape has yellowed holding the photo. Center fold and minor creases on borders. 8 1/2" x 13."
