HISTORY: Carl Olson, (July 11, 1928 – January 16, 2002), was an American boxer. He was the world middleweight champion between October 1953 and December 1955, the longest reign of any champion in that division during the 1950s. Although he is probably best remembered for his three knockout defeats against Sugar Ray Robinson. His nickname, Bobo, was based on his younger sister's mispronunciation of "brother".Presented here is a wirephoto of Olson with Sugar Ray Robinson,Don Fullmer,Carmen Basillio and Randy Turpin.The photo is signed and inscribed by Olson only.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a signed and inscribed wirephoto of Olson.The photo measures 7 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches.The photo shows minor wear to the corners and edges.The back has the wirephoto stamp nad glue residue in each corner.The front has the name of each fighter written in pen near their names.The signature of Olson is inscribed in blue marker and clean.
