Joe Frazier was born on January 12, 1944 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He won the World Heavyweight Title on February 16, 1970 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He eventually lost the title to George Foreman on January 22, 1973. He retired after fight Floyd Cummings on December 3, 1981 with a final record of 32-4-1 with 27 KO's. Offered here is an original, circa late 1960's, early 1970's souvenir pin declaring "I AM A FRAZIER FANATIC."
This is a metallic, souvenir pin with pin firmly attached to the back. Clean front and back. No dents. Bold color and print. 1 1/2" diameter. Rare, the only example we have seen.
