CHOCOLATE, KID-FILLO ECHEVARRIA REAL PHOTO POSTCARD (1938)

On March 20, 1938 at the Arena Polar in Havana, Cuba former world featherweight champion Kid Chocolate fought a featured bout against Fillo Echevarria. Chocolate won a ten round decision in what would be his next to last professional fight. Offered here is an original, real photo postcard depicting the two fighters squaring off before the fight.
This is an original, unused, real photo postcard. Bold, clear image. Not creased or torn. Some soiling on reverse. Front is clean. Minor corner wear. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2." Rare, the only we have seen.
