Cassius Clay won the Olympic Gold Medal in boxing at the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. He defeated Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He would become the first man to win that title three times. Changed his name to Muhammad Ali after defeating Liston. Presented here is a postcard of Cassius Clay and his mother. The photo was taken in 1960.
