Joe Frazier was born on January 12, 1944 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He won the World Heavyweight Title on February 16, 1970 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He eventually lost the title to George Foreman on January 22, 1973. He retired after fight Floyd Cummings on December 3, 1981 with a final record of 32-4-1 with 27 KO's. Offered here is a vintage signed postcard of Joe Frazier as world heavyweight champion.
This is an original, unused, postcard of Joe Frazier as world heavyweight champion. Signed in vintage hand in ink at lower right, "Joe Frazier." Pin holes in corners. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2." Scarce early signed postcard of Frazier when he was world heavyweight champion.
