On July 4, 1910 James Jeffries came out of retirement in an attempt to take the Heavyweight Title from Jack Johnson. Jeffries used former champion, James J. Corbett as his assistant. There had been some bad blood between Jeffries and Corbett's old foe John L. Sullivan. This was patched up when the group met at Jeffries training camp prior to the Jeffries-Johnson fight. Presented here is a rare, original, real photo postcard depicting Sullivan, Corbett, Jeffries and others meeting in 1910 at the training camp of Jim Jeffries for his fight with Jack Johnson.
This original, real photo postcard measures 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The photo postcard is clean with no creases. Unused postcard which has pencil notations of fighters on back. The corners show minor wear. The images are crisp. There is also a faint blue ink stamping on the back.
