BRISCOE, BENNIE-TONY MUNDINE ON SITE POSTER (1974)

On February 25, 1974 at the Palais Des Sports in Paris, France middleweights Bennie Briscoe and Tony Mundine squared off in an important bout. Mundine was the early aggressor and ahead on points going into the fifth round. Briscoe caught him with a hard right in the 5th and Mundine could not rise in time to beat the referee's count. Presented here is a scarce on site poster from this event.
This poster features the artwork of noted artist Luigi Catiglioni. The poster is paper and measures 23 1/2" x 35." There are some edge nicks and the poster has two light folds. Bold color. Wonderful graphics.
