On July 4, 1910 in Reno, Nevada heavyweight champion Jack Johnson defended his title against former champion James J. Jeffries. This was a widely anticipated bout. Johnson completely outclassed Jeffries and stopped him in defense of his crown. Offered here is a rare, Police Gazette Supplement of Jack Johnson dated June 25, 1910, shortly before his fight with James Jeffries.
