On February 25, 1986 at the Forum in Inglewood, California world featherweight champion Azumah Nelson defended his title against Marcos Villasana. Nelson won a close 12 round majority decision. The show was a dedication by the WBC for Fighters Aid to Mexico and had a series of other important bouts including Ruben Olivares fighting a 4 round draw with Chu Chu Pimentel, Carlos Zarate winning a 4 round majority decision over Adam Garcia, and Pipino Cuevas winning a 4 round majority decision over Felipe Raca. Others appearing on the show included Alfonso Zamora, Juan "Kid" Meza, Rafael Herrera, Gato Gonzalez and Enrique Garcia. Offered here is a rare, original, on site poster for this event.
