On June 10, 1955 at the War Memorial in Syracuse, New York world welterweight champion Tony DeMarco defended his title against local favorite Carmen Basilio. Basilio stopped DeMarco in the 12th round to win the title. Offered here is a scarce, original, official program for this event which has been signed by both Tony DeMarco and Carmen Basilio.
This is an original, official program which pictures both fighters on the cover and which consists of 30 pages. Boldly signed on the front cover in black sharpie by Basilio and DeMarco. Tight binding. Not scored. Mild crease at center and upper right corner. Pencil notation at bottom of front cover. Clean except rust at staples. Minor edge and surface wear. Some color discoloration at bottom of front cover. 8 1/2" x 11."
