HOGAN, JACK "ONE ROUND"-FRANKIE BURNS OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1911)

On January 27, 1911 at Dreamland Rink in San Francisco Jack "One Round" Hogan and Frankie Burns were matched in a featured lightweight bout. Burns was declared the winner in the 12th round when Hogan was disqualified by referee Jack Welch. Offered here is a rare, original, official program for this event.
This is The Referee, official program which pictures Hogan and Burns on the cover along with announcer Billy Jordan, referee Jack Welch and timekeeper George Harding. Includes a scorecard. Not scored. 24 pages plus covers, but is missing 4 pages at back of program which are not pages dealing with this fight. Covers are separated from body. Clean inside and out. 9 1/2" x 14." Rare, the only example we have seen.
