MATTHEWS, HARRY "KID"-BABY JOE WALCOTT OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1949)

On November 16, 1949 at the City Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska light heavyweights Harry "Kid" Matthews of Saettle and Baby Joe Walcott met in the main event. Matthews won by TKO in round six when referee Alex Fidler disqualified Walcott for refusing to fight. Offered here is an original, official program for this event.
This is an original, 4 page, official program which lists the bouts on the show. Tight binding. Has a very mild center crease. No tears. Clean with minor glue spots on back cover from mounting. Not scored. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2."
