On April 24, 1971 in Los Angeles former multi champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought an exhibition with Mike Nixon. Offered here are the actual fight worn trunks worn by Robinson in this exhibition which have also been signed by Sugar Ray Robinson. The trunks come with a photograph of Robinson wearing the trunks, and letters of authenticity form Robinson's last wife, Mildred Robinson and Craig Hamilton of JO Sports, Inc.
These boxing trunks are white satin with black trim on the waistband and on the piping down each leg. The trunks have a manufacturer's label for Everlast on the front center waistband. The trunks are boldly signed on the lower right leg. There is some slight bleeding of the signature. Minor discoloration from aging. Size large.
