HISTORY: On September 8,1950 Willie Pep met Sandy Sadler for the Featherweight Title. Saddler would win the bout in the 8th ound by TKO. Pep was down in the 3rd for a nine count. Pep was unable to come out for the 8th round due to a separated shoulder suffered at the end of the 7th round. Presented here is an original, first generation photograph depicting action during the bout.
