This is an original, first generation photograph depicting a group photograph which includes world featherweight champion Solly Smith and future bantamweight contender Monte Attell. Attel is in the front kneeling with the dog, with Smith seated behind him in the straw hat. Likely taken around 1902 when Attell was just getting stated in his career and Smith was winding down.
